snow day

You may remember way back when, in my post with a million thoughts, I mentioned wanting to makeover our blog. Well, the time has come. I'm thinking the 4-8 inches of snow predicted for tomorrow will be the perfect stay-at-home-and-finish-the-blog opportunity. Hopefully when you tune in next week, a new look will await you.

On another random note, I've discovered this week that Kate loves her mommy. That may sound funny, but up until now, she's loved being held by anyone and everyone and hasn't show too much preference for any one person -- or at least not that I've picked up on. But, twice this week, other people have been holding her and she's gotten a bit fussy and squirmy. When they've handed her back to me, she's immediately calmed down again. I guess there is such thing as "mommy's touch." I have to admit - that's a pretty amazing feeling. I sure do love that little girl.

Kate wore jeans for the first time today (they finally fit her). So cute. It was adorable to see her wearing the same thing I was. (Although I wish my jeans were too big for me - must be nice to be a little four month old :).) Of course, she had a blow-out that ruined her look about 2 hours in. Seems to be the trend these days.
